Julia 
Hi, my name is Julia, I'm 33 years old and grew up in the beautiful city of Vienna in Austria.

I discovered drawing and painting as my passion very early on and learned a profession in which I can express myself visually. As a graphic designer I worked in various agencies for years, but was increasingly frustrated by the mostly digital work on the computer, the competitive pressure and the fast life in the city. I was drawn into nature towards a simple life on the countryside, which is why I have worked on different farms to see if this life fulfills me more. During this time I came into contact with permaculture and was enthusiastic about the holistic solutions that I discovered there right from the start. My desire to learn more about it and later pass my knowledge on to others led me to study "Environmental Education and Advisory", which gave me a theoretical and academic framework for how I would like to live and teach sustainable lifestyles.

My vision is to founding or helping to build a living and learning center for permaculture, sustainable solutions, intentional community and healing of people's hearts with the aid of nature, fulfilling manual labour and artistic expression.

Being part of a community where this has been successfully lived for years is a dream that is coming true and the next step towards my vision.

My passions include creating art in various media, spending time in nature, wildlife watching, growing/collecting and processing agricultural produce and wild plants, hiking, reading, yoga, discovering new countries, cultures and ways of life.

I am very much looking forward to immersing myself even more in what has lived in my heart for a long time - a simple, holistic, handmade life in harmony with nature, which (hopefully) draws wide circles, inspires others and invites them into the more beautiful world that our hearts know.
