Workshops

We host a variety of life-changing workshops related to sustainability, homesteading, permaculture and wilderness medicine.  We also offer day classes on many of these same topics and receive numerous groups throughout the year that participate in our transformational educational programs.  Come and take a class, course or workshop from one of the leaders in sustainability education.

An intensive three day workshop looking at the development, maintenance and products of a successful orchard in the tropics. We will adapt what works in the forest to our agro-forestry projects.


Plants as medicine: Reclaiming the art of the home apothecary

Learn the art of distilling essential oils, alcohols and hydrosols of plants for medicinal use. A three day workshop exploring the practical and theoretical aspects of creating a personalized apothecary using home grown or wild harvested plants.
