Jacob Porter is a life long learner who enjoys problem solving and connecting the smaller elements of a whole, in order to walk away with a deeper understanding and ownership of that activity.  He has spent the last nine years working and traveling throughout Asia and Central America, finding inspiration in the foods and cultures of those places. Recreating and exploring new cuisines and ferments from those places, and diving into the growing of those ingredients used, is a learning journey that really fascinates Jacob.
