Aaron
Aaron Patrick Wilson was born and raised in a small coastal town, in California, called Half Moon Bay. Being steps away from the beach his love and appreciation for Mother Nature began very early in life. He has been hiking mountains and going on camping adventures since as long as he can remember with family and eventually through the Boy Scouts of America. To which he did earn the rank of Eagle Scout. He also spent a significant portion of his life participating in various sports including: Soccer, Gymnastics, Cross-Country & Track, and Wrestling. He took wrestling all the way to the collegiate level, first at Cal State Fullerton then to San Francisco State where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. After that he spent several years working in restaurants doing a little bit of everything from cooking to management. Since then he took a detour from his professional career to help his father who started his own business in high-end residential audiovisual work. He had a natural talent for this type of work since he grew up around it and always had a passion for making things work and enjoys high quality sound when listening to music or watching a film.

In the last several years he and his family have taken an interest in learning and unlearning about topics like alternative/natural health, consuming a proper human diet, regenerative agriculture, homesteading and natural building. And this is what led him to discovering Rancho Mastatal and decided to take the leap into this new adventure as an apprentice. Lastly, he loves to travel. He has already visited Central America several times and absolutely loves being surrounded by lush jungle and the life that it contains. One day he hopes to have his own piece of land practicing and teaching the ways of sustainable living that he will learn here at the Ranch.
