Maria is a passionate advocate for ecological and psychological well-being, currently apprenticing at Rancho Mastatal to deepen her expertise in regenerative farming, permaculture, and wilderness skills. With a B.S in Psychology and Biopsychology from Thomas Jefferson University, she integrates scientific training with hands-on experience to foster healing and resilience in both people and ecosystems.
Maria’s background blends environmental leadership, co-creating and managing a university led ecotourism initiative in Costa Rica, with conservation work in agroforestry, wildlife rehabilitation and sustainable agriculture. Alongside this, her professional experience spans therapeutic recreation, behavior analysis, and client support, bringing a holistic, client-centered approach to ecotherapy.
Certified as a yoga teacher for adults and children, Maria values embodied practices as vital complements to her ecological and psychological work. She is committed to cultivating spaces where individuals and communities can reconnect with nature, nurture their mental health, and grow toward collective regeneration.
Maria continues to build integrative skills in ecopsychology and regenerative design, dedicated to weaving together education, therapy, and land stewardship into a manful life’s work of healing and regeneration.
